IP lookup
Where an IP address is, who runs it, and what kind of connection it is.
Location, network owner, reverse DNS and connection type appear here.
What it does
IP lookup tells you roughly where an address is, which network runs it and whether it is a home connection or a server. It also checks common spam blocklists.
How to use it
- 1Type an IP address, or use My IP.
- 2Read the owner, location and connection type.
- 3Check blocklists if you run a mail server.
Questions
How exact is the location?
Usually right to the city, not the street.
Do you keep the address?
No. We send it to our server to look it up and don’t keep it.
Why is my IP on a blocklist?
Home connections are listed on purpose. It matters only if you send mail directly.
