What sites can see

Reading your browser...

Sent nowhere

Read here, shown hereThese facts are read by your browser on this page and are not sent to us or anyone else.
  • Together, details like these can recognise your browser without cookies. This is called fingerprinting.
  • Your IP address is also visible to every site you open. We do not look it up here.
  • Browsers with fingerprint protection (Firefox, Brave, Safari) hide or blur some of these.

What it does

Every website you open can read a set of details from your browser without asking. On their own they look harmless. Together they can recognise your browser without cookies. This page reads them and shows them to you, grouped, with a note on why sites can see each one. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

How to use it

  1. 1Open the page. Your browser is read at once.
  2. 2Look through the groups and the notes.
  3. 3Use a browser or add-on with fingerprint protection if you want to share less.

Questions

Is anything sent to your servers?

No. The page reads the facts in your browser and shows them to you. No request carries them.

Why is my IP address not listed?

A site sees it from the connection itself. We do not look it up here, because that would need a request to another service.

How do I share less?

Firefox, Brave and Safari reduce some of these. A tracker blocker helps too.
