Are my files uploaded?

No. Image, video, audio, PDF and text tools run in your browser or the app. Only website checks talk to our server, and they send just the address you check.

Why can I only watch 5 things?

Every account gets 5 watchers. Checks run on our servers around the clock, so the limit keeps FlinkTools free for everyone.

I didn’t get the sign-in email

Wait a minute and check your spam folder. The email comes from noreply@flinktools.com. You can ask for a new link after 60 seconds.

A video stops partway through

Large videos need a lot of memory. Close other tabs, try Chrome or Firefox, or use the phone app for files over 2 GB.

How do I remove the location from a photo?

Open Photo metadata, drop the photo and choose Remove location. The pixels stay exactly the same.
