DNS lookup
See where a domain’s website and email point, and whether every region agrees.
Records, their TTL and how the 6 regions answer appear here.
What it does
DNS records tell the internet where a domain’s website and email live. Lookups run from our server against the resolver you pick.
How to use it
- 1Type a domain or host name.
- 2Pick a resolver, or ask the authoritative servers directly.
- 3Copy a record, or watch the domain for changes.
Questions
Why do resolvers disagree?
Changes take time to spread. Each resolver keeps old answers until their TTL runs out.
What is TTL?
How many seconds a resolver may keep the answer before asking again.
Can I check a subdomain?
Yes, type the full host name, for example mail.example.com.
