What it does

The broken link checker reads your pages the way a search engine would, follows the links that stay on your site and tells you which ones answer with an error, redirect somewhere else or take too long.

How to use it

Questions

Why only my own site?

The check stays on one host so it cannot be used to hammer other sites. Links to other sites are counted, not checked.

Does it obey robots.txt?

Yes. Pages that robots.txt disallows for our crawler are skipped and counted.

Why a limit of 200?

Each address is a real request to your server. Run it again on a section of the site to go deeper.
