Questions
What is LUFS?
A measure of how loud something sounds to people, not just how high its peaks are. Services such as Spotify and YouTube aim for around −14 LUFS.
Why is the result a little under the target?
The peak limit of −1 dBFS stops loud peaks from clipping. A recording with very high peaks cannot be raised as far.
Is the audio uploaded?
No. It is measured and changed in your browser.
