What it does

Excel to CSV reads an .xlsx workbook on your device and writes CSV files. Choose one sheet, or take every sheet as its own file in a ZIP. Pick the delimiter and whether Excel should read the file as UTF-8.

Questions

Are formulas kept?

You get the last calculated values, not the formulas.

Why are German umlauts broken in Excel?

Turn on UTF-8 with BOM, then Excel reads them correctly.

Can it read old .xls files?

No. Save the file as .xlsx in Excel first.
